Every shoot is different and I want to ensure that I’m not overcharging clients for services they don’t need/want. I’ve shot weddings in five hours, while others required over fifteen hours of photography! Every project has its own nuances. Some couples may prefer a second photographer, while others prefer to save money and keep things a bit more simple.

One-hundred percent of the photos you will find on this site involve clients who felt nervous, unsure, or silly before the session began. My job as a photographer is not just to take snapshots of subjects in pretty environments. My job is to tell the story of my client and to help my subject(s) become comfortable and calm. My favorite shots are almost always in between takes, when my subjects are their most authentic selves.

It’s just about being real—it’s not about being someone you’re not. Don’t worry about being dramatic, or cool. Just be you. I promise that’s all we need to create amazing, beautiful art.

Wear what you love to wear. Wear what makes you, you. Sometimes it’s fun to play with bright colors against dull backgrounds, but I’m mostly concerned with you being comfortable in your own skin, and if it takes your favorite beat-up pair of Levi’s to do that, then throw those suckers on and let’s roll! Clothes DO NOT make the woman/man.

To keep costs low for clients are looking for cost-effective options, my initial packages include an online gallery and full print rights issued to the client. That being said—I do offer a wide range of printing options in my premium packages. Prints can also be ordered directly from your personal online gallery.
